Summary Registered Practical Nurse Cawthra Gardens Community, Mississauga. Rate of Pay: $32.16 (as per collective agreement). Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse is critical to resident care, ensuring quality, safety, and dignity. Responsibilities Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physicians orders, the resident plan of care, and within scope of practice of an RPN/LPN. Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care. Create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff. Oversee resident care, including regular communication with residents and families, and provide guidance to staff. Supervise Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members assigned to the unit. Conduct admission, readmission, and change in status, and provide ongoing assessment of residents. Qualifications Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nursing. Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and/or senior health industry is an asset. Good judgement, risk identification, and ability to foster a positive work environment.
