Ferman Chevrolet Brandon - Experienced Automotive Service Technicians Job Category: Car Service Requisition Number: FERMA001857 Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 +/ Yearly Locations: The shop in Brandon Our Service Technicians are highly trained professionals responsible for maintaining and repairing passenger vehicles and light trucks. The role is team-based, working alongside other technicians to provide timely, accurate repairs on the guests'' vehicles. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on passenger vehicles and light trucks Diagnose and repair drivability issues, engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems Use GM diagnostic tools (GDS2, Tech2, MDI) and service information systems (SI) Document repairs and communicate effectively with service advisors Ensure customer vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently Maintain ongoing training and standards education as required by Ferman and the manufacturer for certifications Qualifications 35 years of experience as an automotive technician (B Level or equivalent) Strong familiarity with GM vehicle systems and diagnostics Valid drivers license and clean driving record Ase certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain) GM training or certification a major plus Must pass pre-employment background screening and drug test Benefits Yearly Tech Bonus Program Paid training and certification Advance Tool Assistance Program Competitive salary commensurate with experience Modern, state-of-the-art Service facilities 401K with company participation Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance programs for employees and their families Short-term & long-term disability insurance available HSA (health savings account) PTO (paid time off) Employee pricing for new & used vehicles, service and parts Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
