Job Summary Springboards Youth Court Action Planning Program (YCAPP) team seeks a Youth Justice Worker to coordinate individualized action plans for justiceinvolved youth and their families. The role involves case management, community liaison, and program administration. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Support Establish relationships with youth and families; create and implement action plans that target immediate and mediumterm goals. Conduct timely referrals and intakes, connect youth to services, and maintain detailed records of progress. Provide crisis prevention and intervention as needed and explain court processes. Community Engagement Develop and maintain referral resources for youth and families. Build partnerships with community organizations, mental health supports, youth shelters, and justice stakeholders. Represent the program at networks, tables, and conferences. Administration & Professional Development Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and data collection in the casemanagement system. Participate in team meetings, supervisory sessions, and training opportunities. Support program evaluation, funder reporting, strategic planning, and other organizational initiatives. Qualifications & Experience Postsecondary education in Social Sciences, Social Work, Criminology, Youth Justice, Community Development, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. Minimum two years of experience working with justiceinvolved youth in case management or support roles. Knowledge of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) and the Child, Youth, and Family Services Act (CYFSA). Strong understanding of systemic barriers affecting youth, traumainformed and culturally responsive practice, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and written and verbal communication. Good recordkeeping skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and casemanagement software. Ability to travel within the Greater Toronto Area and to work evenings as required. Desired Assets Understanding of YCJA implementation in GTA courts. Knowledge of socialservice agencies operating in Toronto, GTA, and provincially. FirstAid/CPR, Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI), Mental Health First Aid, ASIST certifications. Fluency in French or another language.
