Job Description Were looking for a Health & Safety Manager, Distribution Services who will lead the execution of TJX Canadas Health & Safety strategy across our Distribution Services network. What Youll Do Plans, leads and oversees execution of DC health and safety program roll outs across TJX Canada Distribution Services Network leveraging partners within DC and HR to support. Develop strong, strategic partnerships with Distribution Services, Health & Safety, Claims Management and Learning and Development/Training teams to deliver trending and actionable insights. Partners with business leaders and subject matter experts to develop solutions, address issues while mitigating risks to ensure program outcomes are met and in compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible for timely and effective project communications including organizing and leading regular crossfunctional progress meetings with relevant stakeholders to increase and maintain engagement. Leads a team, providing direction and guidance on department activities; reviews performance, provides continuous feedback, mentors and trains team members and is a resource to answer questions and discuss best practices. About You Minimum five (5) years of experience in health and safety and warehouse environment; with progressive people management or leadership experience preferred. Demonstrated management skills including organizational, facilitation, negotiating skills including conflict management; strong ability to manage time and prioritize multiple priorities and maintain high sense of urgency. Strong demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to act as a collaborative partner with leaders and positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the Company. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions, revise business strategies to support the organizations vision. Strong problemsolving skills including analysis of information (i.e. requirements, description of problem) providing solutions with cost implications to effectively resolve issues and execute strategic solutions. Flexibility to work various hours and shifts as required to meet the needs of a multishift operation.
