Summary of role As OIHI enters a key growth phase, we are creating a new Associate Director, Domestic Student Recruitment & Business Development role dedicated to expanding our domestic student reach. This is not an admissions or student advising position. This is a sales and outreach role focused on generating new domestic leads, building referral networks, and driving enrollment growth through channels our existing admissions team does not currently reach. The successful candidate will work alongside our admissions team, feeding qualified prospective students into the existing intake process. While our Admissions Manager and Advisors guide students through applications, funding, and onboarding, this role is squarely focused on topoffunnel activity: finding, engaging, and converting new domestic audiences who are not yet aware of OIHI. This is ideal for a highenergy salesperson with deep knowledge of the Ontario PCC landscape who knows where to find domestic students and how to get them through the door. Responsibilities Generate domestic student leads through outreach, networking, community events, career fairs, and partnerships with employment agencies, settlement organizations, and workforce programs (Better Jobs Ontario, Second Career, WSIB). Build and manage referral relationships that produce a steady flow of qualified prospective students. Represent OIHI externally at events, employer sites, and in the community. Hand off warm leads to the admissions team and collaborate on conversion. Own your numbers: lead volume, referral sources, conversion to application, and revenue per intake. Feed market intelligence back to leadership and marketing to sharpen targeting. Outbound Lead Generation and Pipeline Development Identify, prospect, and engage new domestic student audiences through community outreach, cold outreach, networking, career fairs, employer partnerships, and digital channels. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified domestic leads, tracked through CRM, and hand off warm prospects to the admissions team for intake processing. Develop referral relationships with community organizations, employment agencies, immigrant settlement agencies, social services, and workforce development programs (e.g., Better Jobs Ontario, Second Career, WSIB retraining). Market Development and Partnerships Represent OIHI at external events, career expos, employer sites, job fairs, and community information sessions to raise awareness and generate leads. Identify and cultivate relationships with employers, healthcare organizations, and industry groups that can serve as referral sources for prospective students. Collaborate with the marketing team to inform campaign targeting, improve domestic lead quality, and align outbound efforts with digital strategy. Performance and Reporting Own and report on outbound enrollment KPIs including lead volume, referral source performance, conversion to application, and revenue contribution per intake. Stay current on PCC regulatory requirements, OSAP policies, and domestic labor market trends in allied health to inform outreach strategy. Provide market intelligence and feedback to leadership on competitive positioning, emerging demand, and untapped domestic segments. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in domestic student recruitment, education sales, or business development within a Career College or comparable postsecondary environment with deep knowledge of the Ontario Career Colleges Act. Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding lead generation and enrollment targets in an outbound or field sales capacity. Strong understanding of Ontarios PCC sector, including OSAP, the Ontario Career Colleges Act, MCU compliance, and student funding pathways. Proven ability to identify and cultivate referral relationships with community organizations, employment agencies, referral partners, or employer relationships that can be used to generate domestic leads. Excellent consultative sales, presentation, and relationship management skills. Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and comfort with pipeline tracking and reporting. Postsecondary diploma or degree (preferred but not required for exceptional candidates with proven results). Valid Ontario drivers license and willingness to travel within the GTA and surrounding regions. What we offer Competitive Compensation: A base salary of $70,000 with a resultsdriven incentive structure and an OnTarget Earnings (OTE) potential of $100,000$130,000. 100% EmployerPaid Benefits: We cover 100% of the premiums for your extended health care, dental care, and Employee and Family Assistance Plan (EFAP), ensuring you and your family have comprehensive support at no monthly cost to you.
