Overview Hillberg & Berk, a Canadian owned jewelry company, is looking for an individual with a strong background in managing operational processes and the ability to provide exceptional client experiences. The Assistant Store Manager position at our Southgate location in Edmonton may be the role for you if you have a passion for developing a team, driving sales, and enhancing operations. Responsibilities Support day-to-day retail store operations and coach/develop a team. Drive sales and ensure we consistently provide an experience that surprises and delights our clients. Provide support to the Store Manager and ensure efficient planning, process coordination and follow-through. Ensure tasks are executed through clear direction and that client ambassadors understand their roles to implement processes. Collaborate with retail leaders in the city to provide support and resources as needed, ensuring a consistent and exceptional client experience. Balance business process enhancements with leadership to delight clients; share client feedback, business trends and recommendations to continually improve processes. Qualifications Minimum of 35 years of retail experience, including some process management experience (e.g., inventory control) or a combination of experience and some post-secondary education or an undergraduate degree. Supervisory experience is not required and would be considered an asset. Ability to work a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Salary & Benefits Salary band: $40,000 $50,000 per year. In addition to base salary, a competitive bonus program, benefits and total rewards package are offered. If your experience does not meet or exceed these role requirements, the salary band may be adjusted accordingly in the event that an employment offer is made.
