Youll gain exposure to field activities, projects, and collaborating with multi-functional teams while developing practical engineering and problem-solving skills. #joinourteam**What You Will Do:*** Assist Regional project management through engineering design, asset procurement, MOCs, commissioning.* Assess, identify and implement strategic opportunities to minimize system operation impacts of projects or equipment failures.* Support operations and maintenance personnel in resolving rotating equipment issues such as pump vibration, alignment, and instrument relocations due to vibration and cracking.* Coordinating and approving procurement of equipment through Supply Chain Management.* Spearhead event investigations (leaks, equipment failures) in the field, including analysis, root cause, and replacement/repair.* Work with internal departments (Process Engineering, Control Centre, Operations Programs) to implement operational changes that improve system reliability and efficiency.**Who You Are:*** University degree in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.* Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario or other provincial body.* Minimum of 4 years experience in a variety of positions with progressive responsibility in mainline operations. A minimum of two years experience in Enbridge Operations, and other working knowledge of pipeline field operations and maintenance is preferred.* Technical and working knowledge of the pipeline industry design and construction codes.* Ability to think analytically and perform detailed analysis.* Ability to coordinate multiple projects at one time and meet defined timelines.* Proven ability in planning, organizing, problem solving and decision-making skills.* Strong interpersonal and team skills, with the ability to influence without authority.* A valid 'G' class Ontario driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required. You will undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored medical.**Working Conditions:*** Office-based (70%) vs field related duties including emergency response (30%).* Upon training and qualification, emergency standby on-call coverage (after hours and evenings) may be required.* Ability to travel and work on projects throughout Canada and United States.
