Reporting to the Hardware Development Manager, the Technical Project Manager is a key role within our organization. This position helps move our Agile practices forward while empowering the Hardware Development team to do their best work. Youll play an important part in connecting strategic planning with the teams daytoday capacity. Responsibilities Within Hardware Development - Partner with the Technical Product Owner to make Agile ceremonies focused, meaningful, and effective. - Remove obstacles and create the conditions for a motivated, high performing team. - Shield teams from unnecessary interruptions so they can stay focused on delivery. - Support crossteam alignment and integration planning. - Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and open, constructive feedback. Within Sonar Products - Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices. - Support and advance Agile transformation initiatives across departments. - Strengthen coordination and alignment across multiple teams. - Promote a culture of learning, collaboration, and ongoing feedback. CapacityBased Roadmap Planning - Work with Product Management and Delivery Leadership to build and maintain a realistic, capacitydriven product roadmap. - Forecast delivery timelines using team velocity and historical performance data. - Ensure work is planned in line with available team capacity, accounting for holidays, team changes, and technical debt. - Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize work based on value, risk, and effort. Project / Program Support - Coordinate and support requests from Program Delivery teams to Hardware Development. - Ensure hardware initiatives align with broader program objectives. - Facilitate effective crossteam communication and integration planning. - Support Research and Development projects involving external customers. Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Kanban and Scrum. - Demonstrated experience in capacity planning, forecasting, and roadmap management. - Experience working with distributed or cross functional teams is considered an asset. - Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills. - Hands on experience with Agile planning tools such as Jira.
