PCRM / Inception Fertility Edmonton, Alberta Role Overview The Managing Director is the senior administrative leader of the clinic, accountable for aligning people, processes, and infrastructure with clinical priorities, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives. The role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, highquality, patientcentred care through strong operational alignment, governance, and leadership, working in close partnership with the Medical Director and physician group. Key Responsibilities Clinical Integration & Governance Partner with the Medical Director and clinical leadership to support patient safety, quality assurance, and clinical governance. Ensure compliance with CPSA standards and the NonHospital Medical and Surgical Facilities Accreditation Program. Support incident review processes and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Operational Leadership Provide oversight of daytoday clinic operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and service excellence. Identify operational risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies. Drive continuous improvement in patient access, experience, and performance outcomes. People & Organizational Leadership Lead recruitment, development, and performance management of administrative teams. Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and collaboration. Partner with clinical leaders to align workforce planning with patient care needs. Financial & Business Leadership Work with the VP for budgeting, financial performance, and resource allocation. Promote financial stewardship while maintaining excellence in patient care. Support datadriven decisionmaking and longterm planning. Facilities & Infrastructure Ensure a safe, compliant, and wellfunctioning clinical environment. Manage daytoday vendor relations, contract management, and oversee clinic infrastructure projects. Support clinic growth and evolving service needs. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience, preferably within healthcare or a regulated environment. Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinic, medical practice, or similar setting. Postsecondary education in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Experience in fertility or reproductive medicine is considered an asset. The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate Strong ability to partner effectively with physicians and senior clinical leaders. Sound operational and financial judgment. Experience navigating complex, regulated environments. High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A balanced approach to achieving business objectives while prioritizing patient safety and clinical outcomes.
