Job Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Inventory Control Analyst to lead end-to-end supply planning and inventory optimization activities. This role will bridge demand planning, supply planning, and inventory control to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing working capital and supply chain risk. The ideal candidate brings strong planning expertise, advanced analytics capability, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Develop and evaluate supply scenarios based on demand variability, capacity constraints, and supplier risksProactively identify potential disruptions and lead contingency planning effortsProvide recommendations to balance service, cost, and inventory riskCollaborate with manufacturing and Supply Chain team to understand capacity limitations and constraintsOptimize inventory & supply plans within network constraintsEscalate and resolve bottlenecks impacting supply continuityPlay a key role in monthly S&OP / IBP cycles by preparing supply reviews and executive-level summariesEnsure alignment between demand, supply, and financial plansSupport decision-making through scenario modeling and trade-off analysisOwn and track key supply chain KPIs such as service level, fill rate, inventory turns, and forecast biasIdentify performance gaps and implement corrective actionsDrive accountability across stakeholders for achieving targetsEnsure accuracy of master data (lead times, MOQ, safety stock parameters, etc.)Maintain system integrity across planning tools and ERP platformsPartner with IT and master data teams to resolve data issues and improve system reliabilityWork closely with Procurement to align on supplier performance, lead times, and order strategiesMonitor & manage inventory health, days of supply, and safety stock strategiesSupport sourcing decisions with supply and inventory insightsOptimize inventory positioning across distribution networks and warehousesSupport decisions related to distribution strategy and product flowBalance regional demand variability with network efficiencyLead initiatives to enhance planning processes, tools, and methodologiesSupport digital transformation efforts (automation, advanced analytics, planning systems)Champion best practices and standardization across the supply chainEducation and/or Experience:Bachelors degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or related fieldMinimum 6 years of experience in supply planning, inventory control, or supply chain analyticsStrong understanding of S&OP / IBP processesAdvanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP/APO/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)Experience with planning or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesTechnical Skills:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)Strong analytical capabilities with experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI or TableauSolid understanding of supply planning concepts, including inventory optimization, safety stock, and capacity planningFamiliarity with S&OP / IBP processes and planning toolsExperience working with large datasets and translating data into actionable insights
