Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute to a seamless dining experience.Vacancy status: This posting represents an active vacancy for which we are currently hiring.GENERAL DUTIES:Quickly and efficiently clear tables after guests finish their meals.Reset tables with fresh linens, silverware, glassware, and other necessary items for the next guests.Help deliver food and beverages to tables.Refill water glasses and bring additional items to guests as requested.Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.Keep service stations, floors, and hallways clean and free of clutter.Greet guests as they arrive and assist with seating if needed.Respond to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.Work closely with servers, bartenders, and the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.Respond to team needs by providing assistance with any necessary tasks during service.Set up the dining area before service begins, including arranging tables and chairs, stocking service stations, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for both guests and staff.Provide inspirational leadership to enliven the 1 Hotels Vision, Mission and Compass; deliver on Our Promise, provide Good-Natured Service and uphold our Brand Pillars.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a comparable position. Prior experience in a quality luxury setting is an asset.Have an updated Ontario Smart Serve CertificateExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Carry trays up to 25 pounds with one hand.Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules, including holidays and weekends to accommodate the business and demands of the property. Team members must also follow labor schedules and work assignments.
