Become a Diagnostic Sonographer I at Royal Alexandra Hospital, where excellence in ultrasound services meets patient-centered care. In this part-time role, you will work in both the general ultrasound department and the Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic. Your responsibilities will include conducting standardized and complex ultrasound services while ensuring a safe environment for patients. You will prepare patients for examinations, interpret medical histories, and capture diagnostic-quality images, addressing any abnormal findings effectively. Key Responsibilities: Conduct ultrasound examinations for diverse pathologies Prepare patients and review their medical histories Capture high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images Assist in diagnosis and clinical interventions Maintain high standards of patient safety and care Requirements: Completion of an accredited ultrasound program Registration with Alberta College or active certification Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS-HCP) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs Deliver exceptional patient care and diagnostic expertise as a vital member of the Royal Alexandra Hospital team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
