Succeed. is a growing, innovative, research-based, educational nonprofit charity serving children, youth and adults with diagnosed or suspected learning differences such as dyslexia and dyscalculia and other brain-based differences like ADHD and ASD. Our growing, affordable programs and services operate throughout Canada live online, from our Learning Centres in East Vancouver and North Vancouver, at inschool locations, and in Access, our electric vehicle mobile classroom. Purpose of Position This position is a key player within the Communications team. They help broaden awareness of our programs and services across British Columbia. They do this by outreach, building relationships with the community, and supporting strategic brand awareness and growth priorities. This person may be the first point of contact for potential referral partners, community members, and families, building the foundation of a trusted relationship that is critical to achieving our mission. Principal Roles and Responsibilities Referral Pathways Research & Activation Support with the development and organization of a regional referral network for our programs and services Use email, phone, and videoconferencing to support outreach Foster positive relationships with community members, businesses, and organizations Schedule and arrange meetings between potential highpriority contacts and Senior Manager, Communications Program Promotion & Brand Awareness Support team with the promotion of programs and services Support team with updates supporting awarenessbuilding campaigns Communications and General Meets regularly with the Senior Manager, Communications and team May assist in the creation and implementation of programrelated assets Manages their email and shared inboxes, prioritizes duties and email responses in order of urgency Uses and collaborates on internal online platforms to support team tasks and goals Support with annual fundraising event, RISE to the Top, on Saturday, June 6 *Tasks outside of those explicitly outlined may be expected during times of increased need* Competencies Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (English; French not required) Excellent interpersonal skills Attention to detail when following instructions Selfmotivated and selfdirected Timemanagement skills and ability to prioritize and multitask Exceptionally organized using digital shared platforms (databases, Excel, etc.) Requirements Relevant experience working in a customerfacing role, working specifically with vulnerable populations an asset Criminal Record Check with the vulnerable sector Eligibility to work in Canada Understanding and experience with a neuroaffirming approach and language, an asset. If not, willingness to learn and adopt language, mindset and approach is a requirement Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite Use of Asana an asset Access to a reliable vehicle an asset (mileage paid for work travel with vehicle) Use of Canva an asset Start date and term This position will start May 25, 2026 or as soon thereafter as possible. This job is partially funded for 8 weeks by Canada Summer Jobs and can extend to the end of the summer (up to August 28) if the candidate and the organization agree. There is potential of continuing with us in an ongoing role. Reports to This position reports to the Senior Manager, Communications. Wage $29.40 per hour. Vacation of 4% will be paid out with each pay cheque. Hours of work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, May 25 July 17 or later (see above). Location East Vancouver Learning Centre, 3292 E Broadway, with possibility of flexibility at North Vancouver Learning Centre.
