Join a team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous midwives dedicated to urban Indigenous care. We seek a Registered Midwife for a one-year parental leave, with potential for long-term commitment. This role offers a flexible schedule with on-call responsibilities and three clinic days each week. Work within a collaborative team focused on culturally informed practices and regular case-based discussions. Engage with community health efforts to uphold Indigenous-led midwifery care. Key Responsibilities: Provide midwifery services to diverse clients Collaborate in team-led health initiatives Attend case planning and review meetings Be involved in outreach programs with Indigenous communities Fulfill shorter on-call engagements as scheduled Requirements: Valid Registered Midwife certification required Prior experience in midwifery is a plus Strong understanding of Indigenous health perspectives Ability to work in a culturally sensitive manner Interest in anti-racist practices and learning Make a meaningful impact as you provide dedicated midwifery care to urban Indigenous families focused on their unique health needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
