About the Opportunity Diller Teen Fellows is an immersive experiential education program for teens in grades 10 and 11, designed to inspire and promote leadership among Jewish youth. The program focuses on Jewish identity development, leadership skills development, Israel-Diaspora connections, community service and Tikun Olam. The manager will oversee the program locally and report to the Director of School Age and Teen Programs at JHub. The Manager will play an important role as part of the JHub School Age and Teen program portfolio. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Role Summary The Manager, Diller Teen Fellows is responsible for the coordination and delivery of the local Diller Teen Fellows program. This role focuses on facilitating participant experiences, coordinating program logistics, and supporting recruitment and community engagement efforts. Working under the guidance of the Director, School Age and Teen Programs, the Manager ensures the successful execution of program activities and contributes to a positive and meaningful experience for all participants. Key Responsibilities Program Delivery & Coordination Coordinate and deliver scheduled workshops, seminars, and retreats in alignment with the Diller program framework Facilitate group discussions and activities that support leadership development and community engagement Support the planning and execution of local and international program components, including logistics and participant preparation Coordinate program schedules, materials, and communications to ensure smooth delivery of all activities Participant Experience Facilitate and support a cohort of approximately 20 teen participants throughout the program year Provide mentorship, guidance, and ongoing support to participants in a group setting Support the involvement of junior counselors, interns, and volunteers participating in program delivery Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants Recruitment & Outreach Support the recruitment process for each program cycle, including outreach, application coordination, and interview scheduling Maintain relationships with schools, community groups, and partner organizations that support participant recruitment Assist in promoting the program within the community through events, outreach, and information sessions Stakeholder Communication Maintain regular communication with program participants, families, and community partners Coordinate with the international Diller network and Israeli program partners on program delivery components Support ongoing communication with internal teams and external stakeholders as required Program Administration Track program expenses and support budget administration in partnership with the department Coordinate logistics including scheduling, travel arrangements, and program materials Maintain accurate program records, participant information, and reporting requirements Support alumni engagement activities and ongoing communication with program graduates Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with the School Age and Teen Programs team to support broader teen engagement initiatives Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities Contribute to a collaborative and teamoriented work environment Qualifications Postsecondary education preferred (e.g., Education, Psychology, Social Work, Jewish Studies, or related field), or equivalent experience 13 years of experience in youth programming, education, community programming, or a related field Experience facilitating group programs, workshops, or youth engagement initiatives Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with teens and families Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and supportive environment Interest in youth leadership development, community engagement, and experiential education Familiarity with the local Jewish community is an asset Basic knowledge of Hebrew and/or familiarity with Israeli culture is an asset Program Requirements: Travel, including weekends and multiple overnight seminars abroad. Flexibility regarding afterhours meetings and workshops Drivers license and access to vehicle is essential Compensation and Benefits *This is a fulltime permanent position, Union Level 5. Salary Range: $65,000$73,000 annually, based on experience. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work.
