Support the Municipality of Lakeshore as a Temporary Floating Accounting/Revenue Clerk. This position requires proficiency in accounting practices and will engage mainly in managing accounts payable and billing tasks. You will temporarily fill this crucial role for up to six months, focusing on the ERP project in Finance. Reporting to the Supervisors in Accounting Services and Revenue, you will maintain financial accuracy and support essential municipal functions. Your responsibilities include reconciliations, record maintenance, and customer billing inquiries. Key Responsibilities: Maintain computerized financial databases and spreadsheets Perform regular reconciliations for financial systems Assist with billing, collections, and payment processing Handle customer inquiries through various communication methods Prepare journal entries and financial reports Requirements: Completion of a two-year College Diploma in Accounting At least 3 years of experience in computerized accounting Knowledge in dealing with municipal accounting practices Clear police clearance Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite Utilize your analytical and organizational skills to enhance financial services in Lakeshore. #J-18808-Ljbffr
