Job Title Consultant, Clinical Services Alternate Care Provider Services Overview As the daytoday managing lead, you will provide strategic leadership of the Alternate Care Provider Services (ACPS) portfolio, which includes Associate Physicians, Physician Assistants, Clinical Associates, and Physician Extenders in addition to clerical staff (scheduling and invoicing). You will drive program development, implementation, and systemwide improvements through policy interpretation and indepth analysis. Collaborating with site operational and medical leaders will ensure quality care and optimized service hours. Location and Work Arrangement This position is onsite at Misericordia Hospital and may be eligible for 40% remote work in the future. It is nonunionized. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and expert management of the alternate care provider portfolio. Drive program development and implementation through in-depth analysis, policy interpretation, and recommendations for systemwide improvements. Serve as the primary subjectmatter expert on Medical Staff Bylaws and Roles and Responsibilities for alternate care providers. Develop datadriven insights to inform workforce planning and manage complex contract and performance processes. Ensure alignment with organizational policies and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on provider utilization, performance management, and program effectiveness. Work closely with site operational and medical leaders to ensure quality care and service hours are delivered. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the ACPS portfolio and support delegation of responsibilities. Required Qualifications Baccalaureate degree with a healthrelated focus, Business Administration, or related field. Five (5) years progressive experience in healthcare administration with demonstrable expertise in provider management and strategic program oversight. Experience managing complex service contracts and performance management frameworks. Experience leading and supervising administrative staff, including conducting performance evaluations and professional development. Proven ability to analyze financial data, understand budgetary implications, and make sound recommendations balancing clinical needs with fiscal responsibility. Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and service improvement initiatives. Superior projectmanagement capabilities with demonstrated success in leading crossfunctional initiatives. Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, healthcare information systems, and dataanalysis tools. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors in nursing or a relevant healthcare masters degree. 4 to 6 years supervisory experience. Experience in healthcare facility operations with knowledge of physician and alternate provider services. Familiarity with personnel management and payment systems. Advanced proficiency in data analysis, report generation, and presentation development. Strong critical thinking and strategic insight.
