Be part of VONs mission in Peterborough as a Full-Time Activity Aide, where you will support clients in their daily activities and enhance their community engagement. Your work will have lasting impacts on their independence and well-being. This Activity Aide role focuses on providing quality care while implementing engaging activities in the Adult Day Program. You will collaborate closely with the team''s professionals to assess and adapt individual service plans based on each clients unique needs. Active participation in both individual and group settings promotes clients'' mobility, language skills, and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: Plan and assess activities for individual clients Engage in client group activities to enhance skills Provide necessary assistance with daily living tasks Collaborate with other care professionals Monitor and ensure safety for clients and staff Requirements: Community college diploma in healthcare or related fields 1-2 years relevant experience in adult services First Aid and CPR certifications essential Effective communicator with strong observational skills Access to a personal vehicle and valid drivers license Support VONs vision by making impactful contributions to enhance the lives of clients every day. #J-18808-Ljbffr
