Compensation Salary Band YRSLP01: Ranges from $ - $ per hour. Contract Length Full Time Temporary (Until Approx. March 2025) Responsibilities Supports and works closely with the Specialty Team Facilitator (STF), Specialty Team Support (STS), and the DACS Team. Reports to the Child Development Programs Manager and occasionally to the CTN Manager and Team Assistant Supervisor. Provides support to STS and the DACS schoolage team throughout the referral process, addressing questions about documents and bookings. Conducts developmental assessments and consultations for children with complex medical and developmental needs, including ASD, and collaborates with YRDSB and YCDSB to support referrals. Documents all information in the Childrens Treatment Network shared electronic record, liaises with external agencies and school boards as appropriate, and maintains professional practice standards. Counsels child caregivers and families during feedback appointments, offering services in multiple languages when possible. Provides multidisciplinary assessments and individualized treatments to children (017yrs11months) with challenging behaviors, working with families and care teams to improve capacity and address health concerns. Responds to inquiries from YCDSB and YRDSB employees and educates community partners on the DACS schoolage referral process and criteria. Provides backfill coverage for NPAs within the preschool and schoolage assessment teams and supports STFs with project assistance. Qualifications Masters Degree in Speech and Language. Registered with the College of Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Prior experience working with pediatric populations and children with autism spectrum disorders. ADOS administration experience and training (training will be provided if required). Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Good attendance record.
