Job Description

Lead the construction management of capital projects for the Town of Caledon. Your expertise will shape infrastructure while collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with specifications. As the Capital Projects Manager, you will oversee construction activities, perform detailed inspections, and coordinate efforts with consultants, contractors, and Town staff. The position requires a proactive individual with 3-5 years of municipal engineering experience, offering a post-secondary Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and inspect construction sites for compliance Lead contract administration and project inspections Conduct thorough inspections for infrastructure projects Develop and issue RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs Monitor schedules, budgets, and project risks Requirements: 3-5 years of municipal engineering experience Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and MS Office Strong organizational skills and stakeholder management Capability to work flexible hours Drive successful infrastructure projects and ensure quality standards for the Town of Caledon. #J-18808-Ljbffr
