Receptionist (Contract) $21$25/hour 34 Week Contract Onsite | Calgary, AB Your New Company Hays Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a wellestablished organization in the security and technology services sector to hire a receptionist for a shortterm onsite contract in Calgary. This role supports daytoday office operations during a period of internal change and is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact while providing reliable administrative support to the team. Key Responsibilities Answer and direct a high volume of incoming phone calls in a professional manner Manage shared email inboxes and route inquiries to appropriate internal contacts Greet visitors and manage frequent frontdesk foot traffic Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, data entry, and document assistance Receive, sort, and distribute mail and courier deliveries Assist with organizing and maintaining the stockroom and office supplies Support daytoday office operations and assist the team as needed What You Need to Succeed Minimum 1 year of office or administrative experience Strong customer service and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management) Basic Excel skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams Ability to manage phones, visitors, and administrative tasks simultaneously Professional, reliable, and comfortable working in an onsite office environment Whats in It for You This is a great shortterm opportunity to step into a handson office administration role, support a collaborative team, and gain additional experience in a fastpaced professional environment.
