Were The Heist, the motion design, live action, and postproduction studio within Thinkingbox, the BrieftoBuilt agency. Opportunity As a member of a small yet agile animation team, you will have a hand in all aspects of motion design. You will sketch, animate, and manage microcontent campaigns, primarily creating 2D and 3D assets (leaning toward 2D) to support AR projects, social media campaigns, and short films. What Youll Be Doing Breaking down scripts into clear storyboards that convey motion, and creating refined styleframes that show creative direction. Working alongside the motion design team and leading projects to create nuanced animation. Adopting new processes and workflows to design and produce animation across a variety of styles. Taking an active leadership role on projects and providing clear, concise feedback to teammates. Creating assets and animation (leaning 2D) within the given guidelines or art direction. Offering creative input during preproduction and production. Maintaining organization across all tasks. Accurately estimating costs for tasks and projects when required. What Youll Bring A portfolio that showcases excellent motion design across a variety of styles. 47+ years of experience in a motion design capacity. 1+ year in a senior or leadership role. Comfortable working in Cinema4D and Redshift. Mastery of the Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator). A strong grasp of the animation pipeline. A design sense that complements your motion work. Experience with XParticles, Marvelous Designer, and/or Houdini is a big bonus. Knowledge of Substance Painter is a bonus. A passion for furthering your skills driven by curiosity. An ability to timemanage and address creative or technical roadblocks with a solutiondriven approach.
