Job Description

Your role will include, but isnt limited to: Assist Accounts Receivable Supervisor with daily cheque deposits and follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable issues Coordinate the handling of requests for insurance certificates Support the Accounts Payable vendor setup process Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records Assist the Finance team during interim, hard close, yearend, and other audit/review procedures Ensure readiness and accuracy of financial documents and reports Communicate effectively with other departments Provide advanced daytoday accounting support for the companys multiple business entities Ensure adherence to/compliance with accounting and firms policies and procedures Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy What Youll Bring Heres what we look for: Experience/education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an asset Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle and SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite Openness to embracing and experimenting with new technology solutions such as AI Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Initiative, enthusiasm and mindset of curiosity Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under the guidance of the Senior Finance Manager This position ensures continuity and upholds our standards of excellence following the departure of a valued team member. Salary Range: $45,800 - $76,300 We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
