Salary and Work Hours Salary: $20.85 per hour. Overtime pay at 1.5 times employees regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends. (Monday Friday) (30 hours per week). Qualifications Education: Secondary School plus CPR or First Aid Language: English Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Responsibilities Supervise & care for children before and after school. Plan, prepare and serve meals; light housekeeping, laundry. Oversee childrens activities such as meals, play time, and rest periods, as instructed by employer. Get children ready for school, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Instruct children in personal hygiene; tend to the emotional wellbeing of children and support social development. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings. Good communication and decisionmaking abilities are essential. Must be flexible. Transportation Public transportation is available.
