As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What The Day Will Look LikeProvide insurance advice and guidance to commercial clientsIdentify specific client risk exposure and develop and present innovative coverage solutionsProduction of new business through existing clients, client referrals, targeted campaigns and the Aon client networkService assigned book of business by developing and managing client relationships/expectationsEstablish account-specific service plans and delivery approaches which support coverage solutions and provide continued opportunity for Aon product/service exposureDevelop and manage the client reporting and stewardship process to ensure customer needs are communicated and expectations are metCollaborate with broking colleagues to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective businessBroker new business and renewal policies with Aon Brokers, Aon Facilities and/or the appropriate insurance market where applicableProvide direction when a claim is reported or inquired uponRespond to client inquiries by telephone or by emailHow This Opportunity Is DifferentOur new colleague will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our client sales and service business group within Aon Risk Solutions. As an Account Executive, you will report to the Public Sector Practice Team Leader.Skills And Experience That Will Lead To SuccessMinimum of five years in a similar roleAlberta Level 2 General Insurance Agent License and completed, or working towards, CIP and/or CAIBExcellent interpersonal skills combined with proficiency in both verbal and written communicationAbility to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervisionAttention to detail and the ability to manage concurrent projectsConsistent track record of prioritizing meaningful projects, sometimes under tight timelinesInsurance savvy and comfortable with policy contract language and compliance obligationsHigh proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including ExcelHow We Support Our ColleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
