This position assists in ensuring the program meets all accreditation standards.Note: This is not a complete list of this positions duties and responsibilities. The items below are examples of the types of activities performed. Other duties may be assigned.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide one on one mentorship sessions with assigned students once a week for a weekly total of 45 minutes per studentRecord and track all mentorship sessions on reporting systems providedCreate and teach GSNL & PSNL curriculum and learning plansBe trained and certified to teach all materials as requestedRecord and track all class progression on the reporting system providedSchedule or adapt class time appropriately in order to maintain and honour the timeframe set forth by and to ensure the academic success of each studentDevelop & Maintain excellent relationships with student families and supportCommunicate student progression or incidents weekly to respected family membersRecord all family communications on the reporting system providedInvite all families to ATC events (banquets, golf tournament, Freedom Service, family days)Organize and plan assigned student requests, phone calls, visits and appointments and track requests on the reporting system providedEnsure that scheduled program events, rules & procedures are being followed by studentsProvide mature leadership to students in daily activity as well as at events such as Church Services, outreach booths/presentations etc.Assist with the organization and execution of Freedom Services.Inviting clients familiesSharing the sermon when requestedAssisting with set up and supervisionSecondary ResponsibilitiesMaintain Student Bank for assigned studentsContribute to and/or coordinate work detail scheduleOversee students requirements related to medical care, intake and government assistance programsBudgetary: Serve the Campus Manager to meet budgetary goals, participating in fundraising events.Schedule: Be flexible with scheduling. Will be required to work evenings and weekends.Decision making: Communicate decisions and suggested changes to the Campus Manager.Leadership: Provide support and leadership to students, students families, volunteers and staff within the program.QualificationsA Clear Vulnerable Sector CheckPossesses or is willing and able to obtain Ministry/Pastoral/Counselling credentialsPossesses strong organizational skills and highly effective written and verbal communication skillsAble to effectively minister and counsel students and their familiesWillingness to learn and be teachableAble to be an example to other staff in daily livingActively demonstrate and maintain excellent working relationships with all program staff and all other departmentsWorking knowledge of computers systems and willingness to adapt to web-based programs and reportingStrong understanding of the DNA of the ATC ministryAbility to mentor and give advice to staff and leaders as necessaryUnderstanding of human nature and the physical and spiritual battles that they may faceAbility to defuse tense situationsWilling to take new assigned training, and live an example of a lifelong learnerValid drivers license #J-18808-Ljbffr
