Responsibilities Provide training, coaching and mentoring to yard staff Oversee and maintain yard cleanliness and organization Able to lead and assign daily tasks to yard staff Working with the Stone Yard Manager to maintain yard inventory Oversee yard inventory, tracking, ordering and replenishment Oversee forklift and loader operators Always monitor safety in the yard, ensure all staff are following safety protocol Organize order processing, ensuring trucks are loaded properly and in a timely manner Knowledgeable and aware of all yard operational duties Assist customers to ensure they are helped by yard staff, and/or their ''pick-up'' orders are processed correctly and efficiently Able to communicate professionally and be courteous to all customers and staff Requirements Must have knowledge of landscaping materials through experience 5 plus years in a Foreman or Supervisor role Forklift and/or Loader experience Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent customer service skills Excellent communications skills, both written and orally Critical thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment Must be detail-oriented, accurate and have an aptitude for basic math Able to lift 50 lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
