Recent graduates or noncoop applicants will not be considered. About the Role Noda is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our software development team in Ottawa, Canada. You will join a closeknit team of developers using technologies such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS. You will work within a microservices architecture and participate in automated and continuous delivery practices. The ideal candidate for this position is currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent program and has a passion for creating cloudbased software in a team environment. The position will be based out of our Ottawa office, with flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement. In this role, you will: Design, develop and maintain cloudbased software throughout its entire lifecycle. Collaborate with the team to drive continuous improvement in our software development practices and product quality. Interact with our product managers and customers to understand and break down business requirements. Ensure strong commitment to ontime and quality delivery through an Agile process. Develop with an automated testing mentality in a CI/CD environment. What you will need Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent degree. Excellent communication skills and a strong collaborator. Experience working in a team environment. Passion for learning about new technology and building user interfaces. Demonstrable experience with modern development practices, principles and patterns, including TDD, CI/CD, etc. Proficient working with AI tooling such as Cursor, Codex, or Claude Code during the development process. Knowledge of cloud service providers (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus. What will make you stand out JavaScript, Typescript, React, Node.js, Python, Java. MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redis. GraphQL, REST, MQTT and other APIrelated technologies. LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, RAG, Vector Stores. PubSub technologies such as Kafka. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS. MacOS all developers are issued an Apple MacBook Pro for development. Compensation Compensation for this coop role is between $23$27 CAD per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This opportunity is open to students enrolled in a recognized Canadian coop/internship program and is intended to fulfill a formal coop placement as part of your academic studies.
