RVAs Niagara office is looking for an Engineering Technologist to join their team. Duties Assist in the design of municipal Water / Wastewater facilities, including water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, CSO tanks, as well as linear infrastructure such as forcemains, watermains and sewers. Prepare drawings for both vertical and linear infrastructure projects. Prepare engineering design calculations and technical reports. Attend client meetings and prepare meeting minutes as required. Assist in the preparation of tender specifications for projects. Work in the field to gather data for projects. Site review during construction as required. Other duties as required where appropriate for the position. Qualifications Recent college graduate from a 3 year Civil/Municipal Engineering program or a College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology. 0-7 years of relevant work experience is preferred. Able to obtain CET designation with OACETT is preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Some experience with surveying equipment including GNSS receivers. Able to be trained in Confined Space Entry procedures and undertake manentry inspections into sewers and structures as required. Demonstrated experience with REVIT and AutoCAD. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access. Highly organized with the ability to coordinate work across multiple teams and job sites. Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written. A valid G drivers license and reliable vehicle is required. Compensation Range The salary range for this position is: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00. Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
