Speech-Language Pathologist | Edmonton We are looking for a fulltime permanent Speech Language Pathologist to join our Edmonton team! The Centre for Autism Services Alberta (CFASA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to working alongside Autistic people and their families. Position Overview CFASA is seeking a fulltime SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team, supporting children and families inhome/community services (FSCD funded & Private). This role offers the opportunity to deliver neurodiversityaffirming, strengthsbased speechlanguage pathology services that are meaningful, functional, and familycentered. This role is well suited to an SLP who values variety in their work, autonomy in clinical decisionmaking, strong collaboration with families, and making a tangible impact in the lives of children and families. This is a permanent, fulltime position (1.0 FTE / 35 hours per week), with flexibility in scheduling, hybrid service delivery (inperson and virtual) and opportunities to bank time. Key Responsibilities Clinical Services & Service Delivery Provide neurodiversityaffirming, personand familycentered speechlanguage pathology services inhome settings and community environments. Conduct standardized and nonstandardized assessments to support individualized, functional goal development. Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized service plans (ISPs) aligned with the childs strengths, needs, and family priorities. Deliver direct intervention using naturalistic, childled, and evidenceinformed approaches. Support communication development across speech, language, social communication, and AAC, as appropriate. Collaboration & Family Support Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, caregivers, and team members. Provide parent coaching, consultation, and education to support communication within everyday routines and environments. Team Support, Workshops & Capacity Building Provide mentorship, coaching, and clinical guidance to Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) implementing SLP strategies. Plan and facilitate workshops or training sessions for families, staff, or community partners (e.g., communication development, AAC). Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and collaborative planning. Contribute to CFASAwide initiatives, professional learning opportunities, and continuous improvement efforts. Documentation & Professional Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including assessments, service plans, progress reports, and required incident reports. Collect and analyze data to inform clinical decisionmaking and service effectiveness. Adhere to CFASA policies, professional standards, and ethical guidelines. Stay current with evidencebased practices and contribute to professional learning within the organization.
