Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the meat processing facility, ensuring efficient production and workflow. Lead, supervise, and support plant staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment. Monitor and maintain production schedules, output targets, and operational efficiency. Ensure all operations comply with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. Work closely with team members to maintain product quality and consistency throughout all stages of processing. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost efficiencies, and operational enhancements. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet production demands. Oversee health and safety practices within the facility and promote a culture of workplace safety. Coordinate with leadership and other departments regarding inventory, supply needs, and production planning. Address operational challenges as they arise and implement practical solutions to keep production running smoothly. Support the continued growth and expansion of plant operations. Experience Previous experience in meat processing, food production, or a similar manufacturing setting is required. Previous managerial experience is required. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and leadership. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fastpaced environment.
