Lead patient flow management at the University of Alberta Hospital. This part-time Site Manager position combines oversight of bed placement with operational leadership during evenings and weekends. As a Site Manager, you will report to the Program Manager for Site Operations, providing essential support to ensure optimal resource utilization. With a focus on patient flow, you will collaborate with unit managers and frontline staff to address issues promptly and effectively. This role requires adept organizational and decision-making skills to maintain high-quality patient care throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities: Support patient placement and flow throughout the hospital Oversee coordination of bed allocation and movement guidelines Serve as primary on-site leader during off-hours Address incidents and facilitate problem-solving with units Escalate patient care concerns as necessary Requirements: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BN or BScN) Active registration or eligibility with CRNA Minimum 5 years nursing experience in acute care At least 3 years of leadership experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Your leadership and nursing expertise will be vital to ensuring high-quality patient care and effective operations at the University of Alberta Hospital. #J-18808-Ljbffr
