Bachelor of Science in Nursing Instructor (Full-Time) Position Title Bachelor of Science in Nursing Instructor (Full-Time) Faculty/Instructor Profile Join our Nursing Faculty at Red Deer Polytechnic! The School of Health and Wellness is hiring Full-Time Nursing Instructors for our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program commencing employment August 5, 2026. This is a permanent faculty position, officially classified as Probationary Continuousmeaning youll join our team as a full-time instructor with long-term stability and comprehensive benefits. Our collaborative four-year BScN degree with the University of Alberta prepares graduates to write the NCLEX and become Registered Nurses. As an instructor, youll teach in classrooms, labs, and clinical settings, inspire future nurses, and enjoy professional development opportunities in a supportive, innovative environment. Travelling to urban and rural clinical sites as needed for clinical teaching (Red Deer Regional Hospital, long term care facilities, rural sites, etc.). Creating a stimulating, effective, and learner-centered environment. Preparing, reviewing, and/or updating course material. Marking, grading, and evaluation of student work. Providing ongoing feedback, guidance, and assistance to students. Actively contributing and participating in program planning, curriculum development, and review, project work, and scholarly activity. Participating in School and Polytechnic-wide initiatives and/or committees. Upholding the Professional Responsibilities of Faculty at RDP , which are described within the Faculty Performance Policy. Demonstrating and promoting RDP organizational values and following RDP policies and practices. Required Qualifications Masters Degree in Nursing or related discipline Registered Nurse with current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta ( CRNA ) Current Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support ( BLS ) Provider or Recertification Certificate, or willingness to obtain upon hire Experience teaching post-secondary students through in person or online formats Salary or Hourly? Salary Commensurate with education and experience Compensation is determined by the highest academic credential received and related experience.
