We are partnering with a well-established, diversified enterprise in Cranbrook, BC to find a skilled Intermediate Accountant to join their finance team. About the Role Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in day-to-day and period-end accounting operations. This is a handson position wellsuited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes ownership of their work. What You''ll Be Doing Prepare and post monthend journal entries and reconcile general ledger and bank accounts Handle tax and regulatory filings including GST, PST, and payroll remittances Support intercompany reconciliations and monitor cash flow activity Process accounts payable and receivable transactions including invoicing, payments, and collections Maintain and update the fixed asset register including additions, depreciation, and disposals Assist with inventory accounting and support audit and compliance processes Prepare supporting schedules, GL analysis, and expense reports Contribute to ad hoc projects and reporting as directed by leadership What We''re Looking For Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance 3 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a construction or industrial setting CPA designation or active enrollment in the CPA program is an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with Sage 50 or Sage Intacct is a bonus Strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines Selfstarter who can work independently and collaboratively Compensation and Benefits $75,000 to $85,000 per year based on experience RRSP matching Extended health, dental, and vision care Life insurance Paid time off Location Cranbrook, BC (inoffice, full-time) Interested candidates are encouraged to apply directly or reach out confidentially.
