What You Will Do The Intermediate Product Engineering Designer plays a key role in supporting the development, improvement, and maintenance of Masco Canada''s product designs. This role is responsible for creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings, supporting product development initiatives and ensuring designs meet performance, quality, and manufacturability standards. Create and revise 3D models and engineering drawings for new and existing products Support product development initiatives, including new product launches and design improvements Ensure all designs meet performance, quality and manufacturability standards Participate in value engineering and cost reduction efforts Collaborate with engineers and crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment with project goals Maintain and update design documentation in accordance with internal standards and processes Assist in prototyping, testing and validation of new product designs Contribute to continuous improvement of design tools, standards and processes Maintain a safe workplace, wear personal protective equipment as required on the shop floor and follow safety procedures Report unsafe conditions promptly What You Will Bring 35 years of experience in a product design or engineering drafting role Strong CAD skills with the ability to create accurate, manufacturable designs Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM), materials and production processes Detailoriented and highly accurate in technical documentation Effective problemsolving skills, able to troubleshoot design issues Strong collaboration skills, experience working in crossfunctional project teams Timemanagement and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities Continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance design efficiency and quality Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Design or a related technical field Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards Benefits Competitive rewards and compensation Defined contribution registered pension plan (optional) with employer matching Deferred profitsharing plan (DPSP) Benefit insurance coverage from day one, including health, dental and travel insurance Employee assistance program with access to health and wellness resources Employee store, purchase program, Dell discount program, GoodLife fitness discounts and more Two paid volunteer days to support the communities we live and work in Opportunities for development and growth, including onboarding, mentor programs and LinkedIn Learning Participation in employeeled committees and national initiatives Hiring Range: $67,900.00 $106,590.00 CAD. The salary range reflects the expected annual base salary for this open position, plus other wage amounts such as annual bonus, profit sharing and commissions.
