About CBI Healths Community Rehabilitation Services Working in communities across Ontario, our Community Rehabilitation Services team treats clients whove experienced mental stress injuries and motor vehicle accidents, focusing on a return to preaccident function. Traumatic Psychological Injury Program Occupational Therapists in this program work with clients such as first responders whove experienced workplace trauma. They conduct invivo exposure therapy and behavioural activation, facilitate trauma processing, coping, and return to function. The program incorporates novel interventions like virtual reality to promote industryleading mental health outcomes. This program allows you to become an expert in a growing and niche space within the OT profession. Complex Auto Program Occupational Therapists assess and treat clients presenting with various physical (musculoskeletal, orthopaedic) and cognitive (TBIs, concussions) and psychosocial impairments related to motor vehicle accidents. Working in a community setting, you will complete inhome and hospital discharge assessments, ergonomic assessments, concussion treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, mental health treatment, and other interventions. The program offers start to finish care and guides clients through every step of recovery. Many of our OTs focus on one area of practice, while others prefer the variety offered by a mixed caseload.
