Job Description

Medical Affairs Intern In the role of Medical Affairs Intern you will assist in the development and implementation of a novel Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management and engagement program. You will work alongside experienced medical affairs team members, engaging in medical writing to support scientific exchange with healthcare providers and publications. You will also complete projects as assigned and present deliverables to a multifunctional team. Must be able to work onsite Monday through Thursday in our Mississauga, ON offices and work from home on Fridays. Job Responsibilities Provide medical writing support for scientific exchange with healthcare providers, including on and offlabel conversations, regulatory inquiries, documentation, and drafting manuscripts for peerreviewed publications. Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate results to the technical and clinical community (e.g., Journal Clubs). Apply scientific expertise to advance clinical practice, collaborating with external stakeholders to cocreate solutions for improved patient care. Support the design and implementation of ongoing training for sales, marketing, and medical affairs team members. Education and Experience Currently enrolled in an undergraduate (Bachelors) or graduate (Masters) program in Lifesciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory Medicine, PreMedical or Medical, or Public Health. On track to graduate in 2026 or 2027 from an accredited university. Good academic standing and ability to work from May 11 to August 21, 2026. Skills and Knowledge Understanding of medical terminology and medical scientific writing skills. Ability to collect, analyze, and present clinical data. Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to teach clinical data to audiences of varying size. Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Strong listening, relationship building, and timemanagement skills. Ability to prioritize assignments, work independently with minimal guidance, and maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the medical technology industry and/or experience working with clients/patients in hospital, nursing, laboratory medicine, public health, or biomedical engineering.
