Join Black & McDonalds Ottawa team as a Health and Safety Advisor. This contract role focuses on ensuring project site compliance with safety regulations in a collaborative environment. As a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor, you will report directly to the Project HSE Manager and oversee project sites to enforce compliance with safety policies. Your role involves supporting the implementation of HSE procedures, conducting inspections, and engaging in incident investigations. You will play a vital part in maintaining safety as a core company value. Key Responsibilities: Provide frontline HSE support on-site Conduct inspections for compliance with safety standards Assist in developing HSE policies and programs Support emergency response planning and audits Facilitate HSE orientation for new employees Requirements: 1-3 years HSE experience in construction or related industry Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety preferred CSO or NCSO certification preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Valid Drivers License and ability to travel Drive safety-forward initiatives with Black & McDonald, ensuring compliance and fostering a safety culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
