Join LifeLabs in Sudbury as a Float Lab Patient Technician, enhancing patient care across multiple locations. This integral role involves direct patient interaction and specimen management. We are looking for a responsible Lab Patient Technician who will be educating patients and performing essential tests. This position includes providing care through specimen collection and completing documentation accurately. Successful applicants will need to be adaptable, ready for travel, and engage with patients to deliver exceptional service every day. Key Responsibilities: Explain the specimen collection process to patients Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings reliably Conduct special test collections as needed Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests Enter patient information and prepare specimens for testing Requirements: Approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent preferred Phlebotomy experience is a valuable asset Must demonstrate good computer skills, typing at least 40 wpm Strong empathy and problem-solving abilities required Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality Be part of LifeLabs' dedicated team and support better health outcomes for Canadians. #J-18808-Ljbffr
