Be part of Wetaskiwins dynamic maternity unit as an Obstetrics Registered Nurse. Your expertise in rural nursing will enhance our dedicated care for mothers and infants. This Registered Nurse position focuses on providing exceptional support during the antenatal, intrapartum, and post-partum phases of care. Reporting to the Obstetric Care Manager, you will utilize your nursing skills to mentor others and teach families about their care. You will also be involved in operating room activities during cesarean sections and related procedures. Key Responsibilities: Deliver holistic nursing care to mothers and newborns Engage in teaching and patient advocacy Lead on mentoring nursing students and professionals Support surgical procedures in the maternity setting Maintain safety protocols and patient quality care Requirements: Accredited nursing education completed Registration eligibility with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta Active Basic Cardiac Life Support certification Complete required courses if inactive for five years Preferred: clinical preceptorship in Obstetrics Step into a role that makes a substantial impact on patient health outcomes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
