Become a vital part of GEI as a Laboratory Technician focused on materials testing in Guelph, Ontario. Conduct laboratory tests on soils and concrete while supporting engineering projects. At GEI, we are expanding our Ontario operations and seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician. You will join our technical team at our Guelph office, where you will conduct various laboratory tests and analyses on soils, aggregates, and concrete. This role requires strong attention to detail as you prepare accurate records and collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Conduct tests like sieve analysis and strength testing Maintain accurate records of observations and results Calibrate laboratory equipment for accuracy Follow safety protocols and keep a clean workspace Collaborate on projects to meet deadlines Requirements: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field Experience in a materials testing lab is an asset Familiarity with CCIL/ASTM standards preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Support engineering projects through accurate testing and data analysis with GEI. #J-18808-Ljbffr
