Enhance patient diagnostics as a Phlebotomist at RVH, where you''ll use your venipuncture skills and effective communication to support blood collection processes. At RVH, we are looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team. You will perform various blood collection techniques, ensure patient identification through approved protocols, and assist with inventory control. Your role is crucial in delivering effective patient care through accurate specimen collection and maintaining laboratory standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and capillary methods for blood collection Organize and manage blood collection requests efficiently Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures Record collection information accurately on requisitions Maintain and organize laboratory supply inventory Requirements: Minimum one year of recent laboratory experience Certification from Medical Laboratory Professionals Association of Ontario preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and ACCREDITATION CANADA standards Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems and Meditech Excellent organizational and communication skills Bring your phlebotomy expertise and patient-centered approach to ensure quality laboratory services at RVH. #J-18808-Ljbffr
