Responsibilities: Lead the process of translating Business Plan goals into a costed execution plan Mine design (highwalls, benches, structures) Mine planning (reclamation salvage & placement, drainage, roads, infrastructure) Mine scheduling (monthly periods; 0-24) and material balancing Stewardship and continuous improvement support Mentorship of junior and intermediate team members Location and Other Key Details: You will work out of Syncrude Mildred Lake, Syncrude Aurora or Suncor Base Plant in Fort McMurray, Alberta Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory Our engineering roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work To learn more about living and working in Fort McMurray, click here Think we are a fit?
