Position Overview Working within the established team, the Business Development Associate (BDA) is responsible for researching and cultivating new business to drive the company forward. In this role, the BDA will gain a thorough understanding of the products we supply in order to support customer needs and develop their business through relationship building and innovative product ideas. This role is five days a week in-office, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Key responsibilities Service, grow, and develop The Butcher Shoppe brand through robust customer relationships Drive year-over-year sales growth by setting high personal and business objectives Manage sales channels including cash sales, credit sales, retail store sales and e-commerce Provide pricing and product availability to customers to ensure volume growth and profitability Position products and customization suited to customer needs and requests Thorough knowledge of customer lead-times and order patterns to ensure product availability and pricing Maintain current customer profiles and master data of key contacts and stakeholders Actively prospect new business while continuing to build the basket with existing customers Ensure excellent follow-ups and customer service towards all customer orders and queries Communicate customer specifications, ensure order compliance to agreements on quality, fill-rates and lead-times Qualifications Bachelors degree in business, arts or sciences 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales (preferred) Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind-set Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work under press #J-18808-Ljbffr
