Fabrication Operations Controller (Metal Shop) We are building a high-performance metal fabrication operation and need ONE elite operator to run jobs from drawing to production to installation. This is not a desk job it is a technical leadership role that requires handson experience and strong delegation. What You Will Own Read and interpret fabrication drawings (gates, railings, structures) Break jobs into material lists and fabrication steps Estimate full job cost (material, labor, overhead) Set selling price with profit margin Decide manpower (welders, fabricators, installers) Manage shop workflow and production Control quality before delivery Requirements 7+ years in metal fabrication Experience as welder/fabricator and as foreman/supervisor Proven job estimation experience Strong understanding of real shop workflow Do NOT Apply If You cannot estimate jobs from drawings You have only office/project management experience You have never managed a fabrication team Compensation Base salary Performance bonus per profitable job Growth opportunities tied to results Mandatory Step All applicants must complete a short technical test (real drawing breakdown + estimate) before interview.
