Position Type : Permanent Full-Time (3 days in-office, and 2 days work-from-home) Vacancy Status : This Posting is a New Role, and to Fill an Existing Vacancy. Hours : 40 hours per week. ABOUT THE POSITION: The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for driving the planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic insight that enable informed business decisions. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and functional leaders across the organization to provide financial leadership, improve business performance, and align resource allocation with strategic priorities. Reporting to the VP, Finance, this role requires a balance of rigorous analytics, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills. The Director, FP&A, will lead the companys annual budget process, latest estimates, rolling forecasts, long-range plans, and business performance reviews. This position manages financial reporting and the continued evolution of CATCs financial systems and planning tools. The Director of FP&A ensures the development and accessibility of dashboards that provide real-time operating KPIs as leading indicators of performance management against the business plan. Managing a team of two direct reports, the Director FP&A, in addition to developing and managing a suite of Power BI dashboards, supports business leaders in ad-hoc decision support reporting and analysis. WHAT YOULL NEED TO HAVE: A university degree in a quantitative discipline is a requirement. Accounting or Finance designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CFA or in progress) strongly desired. Minimum 3 years of progressive finance leadership experience (Healthcare experience is an asset). Experience working in a Private Equity portfolio company would be an asset. Ability to effectively lead people while managing tight timeliness, special projects and key initiatives. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with MS Office and data visualization tools such as Power BI. High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial modelling skills. Collaborative leader with a business partner mindset and ability to influence across functions. Exceptional communicator with the ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multiple-priority, and multi-site environment. YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the enterprise-wide annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, in close coordination with the VP Finance and department leaders. Oversee rolling forecasts and scenario planning, ensuring proactive and timely insights into business trends and financial risks/opportunities. Business Performance & Analysis Deliver insightful monthly and quarterly reporting packages for senior leadership and as input to Board-level reporting, focused on KPIs, variances, and actionable insights. Partner with operators and corporate function leaders to evaluate financial performance, support cost discipline, and drive revenue and margin improvement initiatives. Identify and communicate key business drivers, trends, and risks in real time, and develop strategies to optimize performance. Strategic Finance & Decision Support Serve as the primary finance business partner to functional and operational leaders across the business. Support business case development, capital allocation decisions, pricing and program-level analyses, and strategic projects. Drive initiatives to improve data quality, performance visibility, and financial literacy across the organization. Lead the FP&A team to ensure they foster a culture of analytical excellence, collaboration, and accountability. Ensure effective workflows, mentorship, and development opportunities within the team. Champion process improvements and automation to increase forecasting accuracy and reduce manual work.
