Overview RxLaw is hiring a lawyer with 25 years of experience, to join our healthcare regulatory defence team. Responsibilities We defend pharmacists, physicians, dentists, nurses, physiotherapists, and allied health professionals facing investigations, discipline, and registration proceedings before their Colleges. Investigator responses, prehearing advocacy, hearings, judicial review. Associates carry files early. The bench is deep on mentorship and shallow on hierarchy. Qualifications Healthcare experience in some form health law, regulatorside, inhouse at a hospital or health authority, a clinical background (RPh, MD, DDS, RN/NP, PT, OT, DC, OD, RD, RSW, or adjacent), or graduate work in health law or policy. A strong writer. In our practice, the factum decides the case. Judgment under pressure. The phone will ring at 5:47 on a Friday. Regulatorside experience is read carefully and often read well.
