HSAA is seeking a Director, Finance, Facilities & IT/IM to lead three core portfoliosFinance, Facilities, and Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM)while also overseeing Procurement, Risk Management, and Organizational Measurement. Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the Senior Leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping organizational strategy and providing advice on financial stewardship, infrastructure and asset management, technology enablement, and enterprise risk. You will lead the integration and modernization of Finance, Facilities, and IT/IM functions, ensuring they are efficient, sustainable, and aligned with organizational priorities. In doing so, you will build and develop a team, including managers, strengthening internal capacity and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities As a member of the Senior Leadership team, contribute to organizational strategy with the development of strategy for the functional areas, provide advice to the Executive Director and Board on financial sustainability, infrastructure and technology investment, and enterprise risk. Lead long-term planning and strategy across capital investment, asset management, and technology infrastructure, and champion modernization initiatives including digital transformation and process improvement. Provide leadership and oversight of Finance, Facilities, and IT/IM functions, ensuring strong financial stewardship, effective governance processes, and alignment of infrastructure and technology systems with organizational needs. Oversee processes for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, procurement, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness. Lead enterprise risk management and ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, privacy, and procurement requirements through effective frameworks and controls. Strengthen organizational performance reporting through the development of measurement frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools that support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. What You Bring You are an experienced senior leader with a strong background in finance, facilities, and/or technology, and a proven ability to lead integrated functions in complex organizations. You bring sound judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining a focus on longterm sustainability and organizational performance. You are comfortable operating in environments with ambiguity and complexity, and you excel at translating financial, operational, and technical information into clear insights that support executive and Boardlevel decisionmaking. You are a strong people leader who can build and develop highperforming teams, foster collaboration across functions, and lead change initiatives that improve systems, processes, and service delivery. You communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and are skilled at building credibility, influencing decisions, and aligning diverse perspectives in dynamic and sometimes sensitive environments. Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, along with a professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) required. A Masters degree (e.g., MBA) is considered an asset. 710 years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience leading multiple corporate service functions, including Finance, Facilities, IT/IM, Procurement, or Risk Management. Strong understanding of governance, regulatory, and compliance frameworks within public or quasipublic sector environments. Demonstrated ability to support executive and Boardlevel decisionmaking through financial, operational, and strategic analysis. Experience developing and implementing financial strategies, risk management frameworks, and performance measurement systems. Strong ability to interpret and integrate complex financial, operational, and technology information to support organizational decisionmaking. Proven leadership capability, with experience building, developing, and leading multidisciplinary teams in complex environments. Strong communication, relationship management, and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives, Boards, and external stakeholders.
