Make a lasting impact in literacy as the Financial Leader on the Board of Directors at ABC Life Literacy Canada. Lead governance, strategy, and fiscal oversight in this vital role. ABC Life Literacy Canada seeks a dedicated Financial Leader to enhance its Board of Directors. In this pivotal role, you will serve on the Finance & Risk Committee and be mentored by the current Chair/Treasurer in preparation for assuming that role in June 2027. Your expertise will help improve literacy for Canadians by influencing organizational strategy and ensuring sustainability through effective financial practices. Key Responsibilities: Oversee strategic and operational financial planning Attend four annual Board meetings, three online and one in-person Contribute to various standing committees as required Champion literacy through community engagement Support fundraising initiatives to secure resources Requirements: CPA designation and financial expertise Knowledge of Board governance principles Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience in fundraising and networking Commitment to ABCs mission and diversity Lead the Financial oversight and strategic direction at ABC Life Literacy Canada to champion literacy initiatives across Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
