The Opportunity Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Senior Treasury Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting daily banking, cash management and forecasting treasury activities. Snapshot of a Day-in-the-life Help develop consolidated cashflow forecasts Support regular treasury reporting rhythms, including actuals to forecast analysis and cash positioning Help support the preparation of wires for treasury settlements Support working capital needs, ensuring adequate liquidity cushion is maintained while optimizing cost of funds Manage debt financing requirements Coordinate foreign exchange settlements with banks Prepare and post periodic journal entries for banking activities Manage the preparation, renewal, and cancelation of Letters of Credit Help prepare annual budget and other periodic forecast activities with a focus on cash flow and balance sheet Support monthly bank reconciliations Assist with quarterly internal compliance requirements Support various banking projects including being a contributor to the implementation of a new treasury management system Who you are You possess a learning mindset and drive for professional development You are a team player, with solid communication and relationship building skills You have a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills You are adaptable and responsive in a changing environment What Youll Bring Bachelors Degree preferably in Finance or Accounting 5 years of relevant experience An understanding of accounting principles Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills Having a professional designation (CPA / CTP) is an asset What We Offer at Maple Leaf Foods Being part of a high-performance, people-focused company that has an inspiring and unique vision to become the most sustainable protein company on earth, and a deep commitment to sustainable protein across North America.
